Seeing UFC 104 was a genuinely stomach turning experience. I was watching a man fight his heart out in the ring, and completely best his opponent in every possible way. Only to have his accomplishment voided by the "judges" giving a "unanimous decision" to the person who was by all accounts, the loser. To my amazement, even the crowd booed Machida as he raised the belt. He didn't look like a winner, he looked like a fighter ashamed to be called a winner that day. It was a disgusting decision that has tarnished the sport. I would have more respect for Machida if he had paid his respects to Shogun for beating him, but he showed little class, only saying he would welcome a rematch and little else.
